Want a sneak peak at the game's final puzzle?

Well, a look at the first draft of its design anyway... before it drives my coder completely made turning it into reality!

What, you didn't think you were going to be able to actually read it and get a head start on solving the puzzles did you?! :-D

Another Before and After Screenshot

From the demo

From the full game (ignore the "RC 2.50" bit, that's just the Release Candidate version number)

I really appreciate any help I can get - and you will get a free copy of Stomping Boots 2 weeks before the official release!

Before and After screenshot

Those of you who played the original may not realise that among other things we've updated the graphics for CD's ship Disaster Area.  Here's an example below of what the cockpit looked like in the demo:

This is what it looks like now:

The main changes to some of these locations have been the addition of foreground objects and added shading, although there are other changes too depending on the scene.  For instance here you can see modifications to make the view out of the cockpit window more consistent in style with the rest of the graphics.

That's all for now folks...

Stomping Boots... the story so far

So... current status... Acts I & II are 100% complete and have been tested to within an inch of their lives.  So, we've decided to give you the original game experience - the full game - that we'd always intended to, instead of releasing the game in 2 parts.  Sure it will take us a bit more work but it will be so much more satisfying for you as the player, as well as ourselves as developers, to have the full game as nature intended.

Act III is well in progress, and we're in a better position to move things forward than we have been for a while (in terms of real life issues and what have you).  I'm not putting a release date to this thing just yet, but... watch this space.

If you want to get the game before anyone else once it is released, and get it for free, and also help me out as an indie dev struggling to pay my bills, please consider supporting my Patreon Campaign.

BIG Update Post

Okay folks, this is a biggie.  Acts I & II are 99.99% done, we have just sent off the build to our testers for one final week of testing.  Provided they find nothing major that has somehow been overlooked before, that is Acts I & II done.  Finished.  Complete.  Finito.  Also, other adjectives meaning done.

We have not yet made a final decision on whether to release the game as one complete package, or split it into 2 parts and release those separately.  Obviously if we release the complete game, it will still take us a few months to finish up Act III, but that still might be the best option.  More news on that soon.  Feel free to post a comment if you have a preference as to how the game is released!
